BANANA WALNUT MUFFINS

If you have 2-3 ripe bananas left over, don’t waste them. Make these moist and fluffy banana nut muffins.

Once in the oven, it will make the entire house smell heavenly and the different textures are simply to die for. I especially love the crunch from the walnuts and the melted chocolate chips in every bite with my morning coffee. A delicious treat for the whole family.

Preheat your oven to 325F and grease and line the muffin baking pan with muffin liners.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and set aside

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugars until you reach a paste-like consistency - which for about two minutes.

Add in the mashed bananas followed by the eggs, yogurt and vanilla.

Once all of you wet ingredients are mixed together, fold in the drive ingredients. Then, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

Pour the batter into your prepared muffin wrappers with an ice cream scooper.

Bake for about 35 minutes or until the toothpick comes out cream. Let it cool completely before removing from the pan and enjoy!
